Happy Monday! Today’s image is of a seashell that I accidentally crystallised (and I don’t really know how)

I collected it from Aramoana beach and put it away to photograph later, possibly in water?, forgot about it and about a year later I found it (on top of the fridge…way up the back, ya know? right…) looking like this.

My guess is that it is Calcite (a stable polymorph of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) but I don’t really know, I went off on a huge tangent looking at crystal healing…
